Fraser is a writer, filmmaker, photojournalist, artist and entrepreneur who documents the relationship between humans and their environment.
About this Event

Kicking off with a lo-fi DJ set at 7pm, Fraser will take to the stage at 7.45 to talk about his extraordinary career documenting the inner & outer landscapes of the human experience in words, films, images, art, exhibitions & workshops.


Over his 20-year international media career, Fraser has worked on assignments in more than 85+ countries on all seven continents, including both polar regions and Mount Everest, and his stories have been published, broadcast, and streamed extensively for the likes of BBC, BBC Earth, Bloomberg, CNN, Disney, Fox International Channels, National Geographic, Sony, Vice News, and WaterBear Network to name a few.


As an environmental filmmaker, Fraser’s films have won numerous awards and been selected for festivals, including screenings at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP), UN Global Plastics Treaty Summit and UN World Oceans Day.


As a photographer, Fraser has been shortlisted for the Scottish Portrait Award in Photography and exhibited at the National Galleries, Scotland, the ArtScience Museum of Singapore, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, NHS Foundation Trust. He has had camera partnerships and ambassadorships with Sony, RED Cinema and Canon and his images and artworks are available to purchase through Saatchi Art.


His multimedia documentary on epilepsy, A Life Electric, inspired by his brother's life, was shortlisted for The John Byrne Award, selected at The International Cannes Film Festival Breaking Through The Lens, and broadcast across 30+ countries on the Radia Network.


As a speaker and educator, Fraser regularly speaks and holds workshops internationally on issues such as conservation, sustainability, media disruption, storytelling and Artificial Intelligence. He has been interviewed live on TV by the Associated Press, BBC, BBC Scotland, NBC News, ABC News and on radio and podcasts.
