active since 2013, 178° composes pop music that is more or less experimental, incorporating synthesizers, computers, electronic and acoustic instruments, and vocals.

their first album was released in 2025, following a recording residency that ultimately lasted around ten years, during which time the group stopped performing live.

178° resumed concerts shortly thereafter, performing music that someone in the audience once described as feeling like being kissed by a hard drive, and that it was good.
