Kick off a revolutionary season at Historic New England’s Phillips House with an exploration into Salem’s privateers during the American Revolution.
Join us for a lively conversation with Professor Donna Seger, co-editor of 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘮’𝘴 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴: 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘯 𝘖𝘭𝘥 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺, and Dr. Maria Pride, who will highlight the captains and crews that helped secure the colonies’ independence.
