10am-11am 2024 NCDA&CS Private Recertification Training; Instructor: Chris Smith, NCDA Pesticide Inspector II


11am-11:20am Whole-Farm Approach to Pest and Pollinator Management


11:20am-11:40am Integrated Deer Management - Sarah Newman, Cabarrus County Livestock and Field Crops Agent


11:40am-12:00pm Preventing Herbicide Runoff for Cleaner Water and Greater Profit - Payton Berry, Cabarrus County Horticulture Agent


Private applicators must recertify every three years by completing 4 hours of continuing education credits. Two-hour pesticide safety classes (Category ā€œVā€ Training; this class) and 2 hours of specialized training (Category ā€œXā€ Training) during the three-year recertification period.


*Recertification through earning continuing education credits must be completed by September 30 of the year in which certification expires.
