Private Art Lesson for Teens (in-Person)

• ONE CLASS PASS $30: try a class before purchasing a membership. If your teen wants to attend and we sign up at the end of the 2 hour class...we will refund your $30!

• One Hour Private lesson $60: Skill assessment, goal setting, portfolio review and prep etc.

• Ready to join your teen as an LAC Member?.....Ongoing teen art membership for only $60/monthly (ongoing/year-round)

IF you're looking for an inspiring space for your teen to meet creative friends while learning pro tips from artists? You have found the best place in CNY!

• LAC Studio offers instruction for any skill level and any painting & drawing medium(watercolor, acrylic, oils, pastel, pen & ink, wood-burning, graphite and mixed media)
• Students can choose any subject or style. Instructors offer step-by-step OR help students work independently while progressing in skill and focus. (abstract, realism, old masters, Bob Ross style, landscape, floral, still life, portrait, figures, animation, digital basics and more)
• The students enjoy the flexibility of choosing which medium to explore and plenty of guidance, resources and professional tips.
• Instructors are experienced teachers and professional artists.

• Students set the pace and choose the subject, style and medium.
• Teachers offer tips, re-direction, critique and ideas for skill building.
• The studio is an inviting gallery setting with inspiring music selections.
• The supplies are included and readily available to all students including: Watercolor, acrylic, oils, pastel, oil pastel, pen & ink, graphite, charcoal and mixed media.
• Students who have attended as ongoing members of the LAC Teen Art Program:
• Foster long-term friendships
• Learn how to communicate their ideas using a multitude of creative outlets.
• Go on to art programs in college and continue into their chosen career field.

Attend a variety of LAC programs such as: Summer Camps, art internships, assistant teaching positions, work share programs and teach at LAC following college.

• Choose which art medium they prefer (drawing or painting)
• Enjoy a relaxing studio setting.

What do they need to bring?...nothing! Sometimes our teen students like to bring their art journal and their own supplies, but it's not required. We have everything they need to get started.
