Join to the National Pearl Button Museum on Thursday, March 16th at 6pm to learn about Iowa's little-known history housing 25,000 German, Japanese, and Italian prisoners of war during WWII. Iowa author and historian Linda McCann will give the presentation, which is based on her book, "Prisoners of War in Iowa." Muscatine housed one of these camps, which the Button Museum has a display on in our mezzanine.
This is a FREE event and open to the public. Join us in welcoming Linda to town as we learn about Iowa's forgotten history together.
