Greenhouse Studio & Gallery is pleased to announce our Prisoner Art Show. Join us at the Arc Pavilion in Chico for an evening of art and insight on the impact of mass incarceration. All artwork provided by formerly and currently incarcerated artists. Prints and originals available for purchase. A portion of art sales will go in support of the effort to repeal California’s three strikes law (www.repealthreestrikes.org).The evening will begin with a panel presentation of individuals sharing the personal and societal impacts of incarceration in the US. The event will also feature educational booths showcasing regional support and advocacy groups including Concerned Citizens For Justice and Rebound Scholars at Chico State, who provide support and resources for formerly incarcerated students who are pursuing their education.
5 pm: Panel Discussion and Q & A
6 to 9 pm: Art Exhibit Open
FREE admission to all activities.
