PRISM SOCIAL: Welcome Philip Singleton

His talk is entitled:’The Implicit & The Tactile’ .

Philip often works in concrete, resin and other materials, it is the tactile and tangible that fascinates him more than the ubiquitous digital image, yet you will nearly always find a photograph secreted inside his three dimensional work. He remains, perhaps naturally, fascinated with place, whether urban or rural. He has an MA in photography and was, in 2024, selected as an associate of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and is a committee member of the Birmingham Art Circle; looking to give his time to these artistic communities.

He has published two zines and exhibits in group shows 3-4 times per year.
