🎀 Why We Walk
This event began four years ago as a personal tribute to two incredibly strong women—my mother and my aunt—who both faced breast cancer with courage, determination, and grace. They fought the good fight, and they won. 💪🏾💕
What started as a small way to honor their journeys has grown into an annual tradition that brings our community together to honor survivors, stand beside those currently battling breast cancer, remember those we’ve lost, and spread hope.
And this year, we’re taking that mission one step further.
💗 Your Steps Will Make a Direct Impact
For the past three years, proceeds from the Priscilla Girls 5K Walk have been donated to Breastcancer.org.
This year, we’re bringing the impact directly home.
All funds raised through the 2026 walk will be awarded directly to one deserving North Carolina woman who is currently battling breast cancer or who has completed treatment within the past six months.
With the help of my mother and aunt, we will select one recipient whose story reflects the strength and resilience this event celebrates.
The funds can be used however they are needed most—from medical expenses and recovery costs to household bills, self-care, or simply a well-deserved opportunity to breathe, smile, and treat herself during a difficult season.
