Join printmaker Linda Zupcic for a hands-on Printmaking Workshop!🎨 Draw inspiration from our current exhibition 𝘍𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴: 𝘑𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘞𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘬 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘦𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘢 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘶𝘮 𝘰𝘧 𝘈𝘳𝘵.🌊
Be inspired by our current exhibition Fleeting Pleasures: Japanese Woodblock Prints from the Georgia Museum of Art
No experience necessary to participate in this workshop. Rather than wood, which is more difficult and takes longer to carve, students will be working with rubber blocks to get an effect similar to a Japanese woodblock print. Several optional designs will be suggested or you can bring your own ideas for a 4” x 6” block. All materials will be provided by FAM.
Also included is an informational tour of the𝘍𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴 exhibition and a description of the Japanese woodcut process.
