Join Doug Eberhardt (https://voidboy.art/) for an introduction to Risograph printing, zinemaking, and bookbinding. Over the course of this three-session workshop, you’ll collaborate with fellow students to create a risograph-printed, hand-bound zine (a small book series) from start to finish. 2/21 - 11 am to 1 pm - Intro to risograph printing and color separation
2/28 - 11 am to 1 pm - Compiling and printing our images
3/7 - 11 am to 1 pm - Binding and final publishing
By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge needed to enroll in a Grounded risograph membership and confidently use the printer to produce your own work. This workshop is ideal for anyone interested in drawing, comics, zines, and DIY publishing, and for artists curious about turning their ideas into printed, shareable objects.
This class is beginner friendly and will be super fun.
