Join Prince William Little Theatre for an enchanting performance as they take on the classic children’s book by Frances Hodgson Burnett and reimagined in this Tony Award winning musical by composer Lucy Simon and Marsha Norman. Orphaned in India, 11-year-old Mary Lennox returns to Northern England to live with her embittered, reclusive Uncle Archibald. Mistress Mary’s quite contrary spirit is awoken by the charming Yorkshire natives, their connection to the land, and the spirits of the past haunting both the house and her dreams. The dreary estate’s saving grace is a hidden garden in which Mary discovers the beauty of nature and of the magic springing from the kindness in her soul. Compelling songs such as “Come to My Garden”, “Lily’s Eyes” and “Hold On” enchant The Secret Garden’s compelling tale of forgiveness and renewal.
