Primer 55 comes to Chapel of Bones with Sicksense and Redefind.
Coming out of Memphis in the late ’90s, Primer 55 landed right in the middle of the era when the lines between metal, hardcore, and hip-hop were getting torn apart. Introduction to Mayhem put them on the map, with “Loose” becoming one of the tracks most closely tied to the band and the early-2000s heavy music scene.
Sicksense joins the bill with a two-vocalist attack that moves between hip-hop, melody, and outright aggression, while Redefind brings a modern nu-metal sound built around big hooks and a heavy rhythmic backbone.
