Primary Meet-Up

An invitation to all Music Leads from York and North Yorkshire primary schools to attend our 'Why this? Why now?' session. During which, time will be given to hear key messages from Ofstead and Deep Dives in music, plus discussions around Curriculum planning. Also time will be given to sharing or trying out new schemes of learning, while enjoying cake and tea.

The 'Why this? Why now?' session will be divided into three parts -1. What does an Outstanding Music Department look like in a Primary school? Talk by a local primary colleague.2. how to develop a great Curriculum Plan, how to answer questions about why this works?3. Time available to share and / or 'try-out' new schemes and hear thoughts from others

We encourage all colleagues to bring / share a Scheme that works well in their school.
