Join me for another 🏳️‍🌈Pride: Yoga in the Park, at Leslie Groves Park!🌲
August will be here before we know it! Come honor where you're at this summer, and live authentically you ON THE MAT.
Practice self-compassion and self-love, Atma-Prema, or "love of the soul."
This sanskrit phrase encapsulates one's acceptance of self. Living in our truth means loving ourselves where we're at. We can do this through various yogic practices, including breathwork and asana, or postures in our yoga sequence.
Treat your mat as the doorway to self, and let's practice attunement in an authentic, loving, and unified space together.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 16TH FROM 10AM-11:15AM!

WHAT TO EXPECT:
🌞Expect a beginning breathwork practice that invites in soft and gentle awareness to the body. We'll find some space to prepare our body by opening the lungs and creating space to set the intention for our practice together.
🌞Inviting in a beautiful warm-up that begins to wake up the joints and muscles as we sync breath with movement.
🌞Spend the first half of our flow together moving through a Vinyasa sequence. We'll create space for alignment, both within body and breath, as we invite in more active and dynamic movements that challenge us to create awareness and listen to our own needs.
🌞As we begin to cool down, we'll find ourselves in a softer, more passive Yin sequence for the last portion of our time together. This gives you space to sink deeper within self, as you spend longer times in poses that get into the deeper connective tissues of the body.
🌞End our yoga in the park time with some connective energy as we unwind and enjoy some snacks/drinks that will be provided after class!

Come prepared, bringing a water bottle and sunscreen to protect your skin. I'll have mats available to borrow if needed.
You will receive a text before class to confirm your attendance and make sure you're in the right spot!
