Founded by pastry chef Karen Krasne, Extraordinary Desserts has been a San Diego staple for more than three decades, first opening in Hillcrest in 1989 before making its home in Bankers Hill inside The Louie Lofts. The space is anchored by a 40 foot glass facade and a central bronze bar, with elaborate cakes and pastries on display alongside a full menu of savory bites, beer, wine, and specialty cocktails.

The Transgender Health and Wellness Center is one of the largest trans-led nonprofits in the country, with offices in Palm Springs, Riverside and San Diego. We aim to connect trans people to their basic needs through gender-affirming hair removal, mental health support and social services, including employment, housing and insurance navigation.
