From **October 11th to 13th**, join us for three days of incredible live performances, drag shows, and an open mic, all in the heart of our community at *Philly on the Rocks*. This isn’t just a music event—it’s a celebration of visibility, courage, and the power of coming out. Especially for Queer Artist who are more than often afraid of coming out pubically in the entertainment industry

?️ **Why *National Coming Out Day* is Important:**

Since 1987, the Queer Community has been marching to DC on National Coming Out Day.

It is more than just a date on the calendar. It’s a day rooted in bravery, self-expression, and the ongoing fight for LGBTQ+ rights. Every time someone comes out, they take a stand against prejudice, discrimination, and fear. They declare their existence and their truth.

But for many, coming out is still an act of courage. Whether it's fear of rejection from family or friends, the threat of losing a job, or simply not feeling safe—coming out is still a challenge in many communities. That's why *Pride on the Rocks* is about more than music and performances. It’s about creating a space where everyone can feel seen, heard, and celebrated.

By supporting this event, you’re standing up for the importance of visibility, acceptance, and the power of community. You're helping give queer artists a platform to express themselves freely and unapologetically—and you're contributing to a world where no one has to be afraid of being who they are. ?️‍??

- **Friday, Oct 11th** (6 pm) – *Queer Folk Punk Night* ?

- **Saturday, Oct 12th** (3 pm) – *Indoor Block Party* with back-to-back bands and a *Drag Show* ??

- **Sunday, Oct 13th** (6 pm) – *Open Mic & Open Jam Night* ??

Tickets are just **$8 per day** or **$15 for a weekend pass**—and the best part? Proceeds go directly to supporting our local queer artists and Compton's Table, a nonprofit that uplifts LGBTQ+ community

PLUS—thanks to Central Outreach Erie, anyone who gets STI tested at their office or on-site can receive a FREE weekend pass! ?️‍??

This is more than a show. It’s about standing together, lifting up queer voices, and continuing the fight for equality in our own backyard. ?️‍⚧️✊
