About this Event
Join us to celebrate Pride Month, network with other local educators, and learn about One Institute's resources for teaching K-12 LGBTQ+ history.
Through unique K-12 teacher trainings, lesson plans, and youth mentorship programs, empowers the next generation of teachers and students to bring queer history into classrooms and communities. As the independent community partner of ONE Archives at the USC Libraries, we promote the largest collection of LGBTQ+ materials in the world.
This networking and resource-sharing event will take place at One Gallery in West Hollywood on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM. Parking is available at the West Hollywood Library and can be validated for two hours in the first floor office.
Coffee and light breakfast will be provided by One Institute with free LGBTQ+ books from the Rainbow Book Bus! The aims to promote and protect access to representative books and media for queer communities and anyone impacted by anti-inclusive legislation.
This program and event is organized by Trevor Ladner, Education Programs Manager at One Institute. Please contact Trevor at [email protected] with any questions.
