Pride Jam 2026

It's Pride Month and this jam is dedicated to our LGBTQIA+ community! Triangle Acro's 7th Annual Pride Jam is an opportunity to gather, show off our rainbow colors, and create some fun acro stacks and group pyramids together.
Meet at the South Lawn of Duke Gardens near the pond. Carpool if possible and bring water/sunscreen. Restrooms and a water fountain are available in the gardens.
Beginners welcome! Come at 4:30pm for a mini-lesson to learn a few poses you can perform in group photos.
Wear black or dark bottoms and bring shirts in 3+ colors if possible. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo (dark purple), violet (light purple), pink, teal, white, black, and brown.
We welcome when folks bring ideas for small or large group photo poses! Comment below with colors you plan to bring and group poses you might want to coordinate (10 min or less) at the jam!
In case of inclimate weather on 6/28, we'll move the Pride Jam to 3- 6pm at Triangle Rock Club Durham. Contact organizers if you need a guest pass and we'll try to connect you with a member!

Support is more than just showing up for fun stuff!
We've previously collected donations and made a group gift to the LGBTQ Center of Durham, the Trevor Project, EqualityNC, and other progressive charities which champion and support the rights of LGBTQIA+ people. If anyone wants to suggest an org and coordinate this year, please reach out!
