A Pride hīkoi in the Waitākere ranges with @charlotte_museum_aotearoa & @aratakivisitorcentre 🥾🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈Welcoming all LGBTQIA+ and takatāpui folk, this event combines movement, connection, and Te Taiao for a wholesome Saturday outing you won’t want to miss! On Saturday 21 Feb, we’ll enjoy a relaxed 45-minute round-trip walk to the normally inaccessible Jacobson’s Depot, which requires strict Watercare permission to enter. Along the way, we’ll get a rare glimpse of the Rainforest Express miniature railway, platform and tunnels. After the walk, we’ll regroup back at the Visitor centre to share some kai and refreshments, creating space to connect with fellow attendees and celebrate our wonderful community during Pride month ✨🙌
