Pride Fundraiser Market

This fundraising event for Guelph Pride and BLM Guelph is a nice place to browse for gently used items, unique buttons made by our volunteers, or brand-new-to-you queer friends!

10am - 1pm: Drop-off donations

1pm- 5pm: Shop the market of donated items

Donations: drop off clean, gently used or new items between 10am and 1pm for them to be sorted and placed on tables and bins by our volunteers. We will also appreciate any large re-usable grocery/shopping bags and newspaper for folks to bring their purchases home. Please only donate items that are usable and in relatively good condition, no big holes, sticky stains, or large cracks. We'll accept clothes, household items, art, tools, decorations, toys, etc but please nothing bigger or heavier than the average able-bodied person could carry up and down some a flight of stairs. If you are unsure if your item would be appreciated, feel free to take a picture and ask by messaging us directly via Instagram, Facebook, or e-mail us at [email protected].

Market: Shop our donated items from 1pm-5pm! The majority of items will be pay-what-you-can but we'll have many volunteers to help think of a price if you find pricing an item difficult. (Please understand some high value items may be donated under the condition of it being sold for a higher donation- these items will be clearly marked and may even be placed on a designated location for higher-value items.) We'll have a good amount of plastic grocery store bags for you to carry things home in but we encourage folks to bring their own reusable bags just in case we run out or your items are a bit too heavy for the thin plastic to handle. We currently do not have a designated space to try on clothing and accessories so for clothes, you might want to wear something tighter fitting to try items on over your clothes.

There are accessible gender-neutral washrooms but there's only a couple so please avoid using these to try on clothes unless necessary for accessibility or your safety.
