Pride Flashband - Meet & Greet Jam Lottery

Flashband is kicking off Pride Month in rock style! On June 1st, eight all-new Flashbands will be covering hits and gems by queer artists & icons ~ celebrating the music and artists that define and drive the movement, culture, and what it means to claim, embody, and love all identities and stories. Get ready for Elton, Brandi, Sophie, Alanis, Queen, Janelle Monae, Frank Ocean, and so many more! With musical joy as our witness, we’re lifting up the expansive, empowered community of local LGBTQ+ musicians, nearly 50 years of Pride in DC, and collectively rocking out to the trans-positive, sex-positive, all-gender-inclusive world we all dream of.

Register for a spot in the lottery between 12-1pm ET on Sunday, 4/21 (open to all)

1. Once you've completed your purchase, you'll receive an automated email from Eventbrite verifying your lottery spot. This does not confirm your participation in Flashband.
2. After the lottery is closed, you'll get a follow-up email from the Flashband Director with more details on what to expect.
3. Within 24 hours, our system will randomly sort lottery registrants into Participants and Waitlisters and you'll receive an email with your status and next steps:

>> Participants (performers) will receive a Welcome and Jam Prep email. This tells you all you need to know about the Meet & Greet Jam on 4/28. You'll have 48 hours to notify the Director if you can't participate.

>> Waitlisters will receive a Waitlist email. Waitlisters will be contacted by the Director if a slot becomes available, and will be refunded after the showcase if they do not come off the waitlist. Waitlisters do not attend the jam. More details in FAQs at www.flashbanddc.com.

Requirements: You must be available for the jam on 4/28 and the showcase 6/1 to participate.
