Join Beausoleil Books & The Whisper Room in honoring the LGBTQIA+ experience in Lafayette during our second annual Pride Day!Beausoleil Books will be hosting its second annual Pride Day on June 11 during Acadiana Pride’s first annual Pride Festival in Downtown Lafayette. The day will be packed with events, contests, and prizes, so stay tuned for updates .
At 4pm, in Beausoleil Books, we will be hosting Conversations with the Community , a discussion open to the public covering topics such as gender, sexuality, and queerness.
At 7pm, Alexa Milano will be emcee for Pride Trivia Night . Teams of four may enter the contest for a small fee of $10/team. The winners will receive Beausoleil Pride Day perks.
All day the Whisper Room will be serving Pride Punch, there will be a photo booth set up along with a photo competition, and a community art project.
