Anne (she/her) is an Albany Park potter who throws functional and decorative work for the home and garden, drawing inspiration from mid-century forms and stained glass designs.

In this hands-on workshop for adults and older teens, participants will create a design on their own ceramic item, your choice between a bud vase, a planter, or a tumbler (already wheelthrown by Anne) using tape resist and glaze application. Anne will demonstrate her approach to mapping out and applying taped designs, as well as how to glaze a piece effectively. She will also have some of her finished pieces on hand to help visualize the end result.
