AUSCA and WoCo are teaming up for Pride & Prejudicial Swordplay! (aka Gay Swords Night!)Ever wanted to gently lift your enemies chin with your sword? Well on this night - you can!
For anyone that identifies as a woman, queer, or experimenting, Pride & Prejudicial Swordplay is for you.
Come for a night of swordplay, socialising & dressing up. There’ll be strange women distributing swords - come get you some strange! We’ll be learning some sword techniques, trying them out, and then socialising over dinner & sword fighting! For the first part of the night we will be using swords that are actually for martial fighting, for the second part we’ll have foam/boffa alternatives so we can go ham!
Come one, come all, for medieval swords, being expressively queer, meeting new people, and trying new things!

Cost: $15
When: 6th of June, 6pm to 10pm/late.
Where: Rumours Café, Lvl 6 of Union House @ Adelaide Uni East Campus.
Dress code: Medievally express yourself! An attempt at medieval garb, or just simply dress in a way that feels like ‘you’.
Bookings are limited and close the 3rd of June, or we run out of swords or reach 50 attendees, whichever comes first.
Please ensure you pay to secure your place, payment is due by midday the 4th of June to secure your booking.
If there is an overwhelming amount of interest, priority will go to AUSA students.
Bring:
A water bottle! Swords! And a positive attitude!
Optional: Snacks, your preferred non-alc drinkies &/or glitter if desired!
