Kickoff: We’ll start with a community prayer and welcome.
African American History: Throughout the event, hear inspiring stories about African American history.
Watermelon Slices: Registered participants can enjoy refreshing watermelon slices (while supplies last).
Kid-Friendly Activities: Bring the kids! We’ll have face painting, a jumpy house, and a water slide.
Games & Prizes: Play games to win delicious watermelon popsicles, and groove to DJ Howard’s music.
Cooking Demo: Ms. Washington will demonstrate how to make a delightful watermelon salad. Don’t miss the free samples!
Spoken Word & Talent Show: Our Juneteenth-themed showcase will feature spoken word performances, costumes, and talents.
Watermelon Eating Contest: Who can devour watermelon the fastest with no hands? Join the fun!
Special Guest: The Mayor of Prichard will share a few words with us.
