With the 2026 midterm elections poised to reshape the political landscape, this timely conversation will explore the key races, emerging trends, and broader forces that will define the campaign season. Drawing on expertise in political science, electoral analysis, campaign strategy, and Washington reporting, the panel will also examine the national political environment, the issues most likely to influence voters, and the potential implications of the election for Congress, the presidency, and public policy.
Participants will include Jennifer Lawless, University of Virginia professor of politics; Doug Sosnik, senior advisor, Brunswick Group; Kyle Kondik, director of communications, UVA Center for Politics; and Mike Emanuel, chief Washington correspondent, Fox News.
