About this Event

Join us for a free preview of our new Pullman House Project 1960's Exhibit House

As a key interpretive partner of Pullman National Historical Park, the Pullman House Project will preview its fourth house as part of 2024 National Park Week.

The tour program offers visitors an immersive journey into 140 years of life in the landmark Town of Pullman. This additional house will showcase the life of an Italian family who lived and worked in Pullman during the mid 20th century and will tell the story of "The Neighborhood That Saved Itself”. The new exhibit is based on the remarkable story of Americo L. Lisciotto, a Pullman resident who played a pivotal role in organizing the community and spearheading efforts to establish the Pullman Civic Organization. It was that civic engagement that saved the neighborhood from demolition in 1960.

This ticket is for the 1:30 PM entry time.

Meet to check in at our Pullman House Project Welcome Center and we will direct you on a short walk to the house for viewing.
Also be sure to stop in the Pullman Club Coffee Shop, also in our Welcome Center, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a snack before or after the exhibit.

Don't miss this opportunity to experience the past in a whole new way!
