Because of ongoing concerns about Covid, and the difficulty of judging the safety of offering a live event in the restricted space of the First Presbyterian Church's Chapel, I have made the difficult decision to CANCEL Peninsula Chapter's live preview.San Francisco Opera will present Dr. Rebecca Plack's virtual preview, and afterward will post it for viewing at the same, $10/person, cost charged for the live preview. The information is available under the Opera Previews section (reached by a lot of scrolling!) of the San Francisco Opera Guild Opera/Opera Guild website.
I know we're all looking forward to meeting for live previews, and hope that this will soon be a reality. Meanwhile, join me in enjoying San Francisco Opera's reopened live opera season!
