First Nations People are burdened by some of the highest rates of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in the world. In this population, the disease starts at a young age, has severe features, and is associated with highly unfavourable outcomes and early mortality. Much as been learned about the risk factors for RA in First Nations People and we are now in a position to consider and test prevention strategies. You are invited to participate in a symposium that will bring together people with lived experience, scientists, clinicians, and Elders to explore a multidimensional agenda for preventing RA in First Nations People.
