Presumpscot River Revival Race
About this Event
The Friends of Presumpscot River's race returns for another year! We had a fantastic event last year and are continuing the momentum with event improvements.
Join us this fall for our Presumpscot River Revival Paddle Race!
You can expect a day of friendly competition, community connections, food, and foliage. This is an all-ages, family-friendly event.
The Friends of the Presumpscot River was established in 1992 to advocate for the remediation and protection of the Presumpscot River waters and fisheries.
We aim to reconnect and protect the river that sustained the region’s First Peoples and gave rise to settler colonies along its winding banks.
The continued revival of the Presumpscot is the driving force behind this competition. Our goal is to bring the community together to the river once again, to cheer on competing loved ones, stoke the flame of excitement for the return of native fisheries, and celebrate the ongoing restoration of this ancient and beloved river.
