Join us for an exhilarating journey into the world of home food preservation! Pressure canning is the only safe way to preserve "low-acid" foods to eliminate harmful bacteria. Open up your world to canning soups, applesauce, peas, beans, meats and more for shelf-stable and ready-to-eat products! In this exciting class, you'll learn how to safely can a lentil soup and create delicious pickles using a pickling method. Each attendee will take home your own jar of each so please bring any veggies you would like to add to YOUR lentil soup (ie: onions, garlic, seasoning, carrots, tomatoes, zucchini, etc)! Get ready to dive into a world of flavor and preservation with us!
Reservations are required and due to purchasing supplies, there will be no refunds after April 29th. Cost of the class is $20 per person.
(We do reserve the right to cancel and refund if we do not have a minimum of 6 participants to hold the class).
