Kay's Bio:
I grew up in Texas, Iowa, and New Jersey, and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting and drawing from the University of Iowa. I enjoyed a career as an illustrator and graphic artist, and for a few years, I also worked as a decorative painter and muralist. I'm now retired and enjoying making art on my own time. My art can be seen in the permanent collections at the University of Iowa Hospitals, and it can be borrowed with a library card at the Iowa City Public Library. Other places to view my work are Iowa Artisans Gallery, and the Eastside Artists show in the Masonic building the first weekend in December.
