Happening at both the Laurel and Somerset Campuses!Somerset Community College is inviting prospective and current students, as well as community members, to take the next step toward a rewarding healthcare career at its “Press Play: Explore. Plan. Choose Your Healthcare Pathway” event on June 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at both the Somerset Campus (Harold Rogers Student Commons Cafeteria) and the Laurel Campus in London (Building 3, Rooms 203/204). Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of health science programs, connect with knowledgeable advisors and program professionals, and receive personalized guidance on choosing the right pathway. The event will also provide assistance with admissions, financial aid, and enrollment for upcoming summer and fall classes. Programs highlighted in Somerset include EMS-Paramedic, Human and Social Services, Medical Laboratory Technician, Nursing (ADN and LPN), Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiography, and Surgical Technology, while the London campus will feature Medical Assisting, Nursing (ADN and LPN), Pharmacy Technician, Respiratory Therapist, and Diagnostic Medical Sonography. This event is ideal for anyone just starting out, changing careers, or advancing their education, with a focus on hands-on training, workforce readiness, and high-demand careers in healthcare.
