ORGANIZERS FROM CONNECTICUT'S PUERTO RICAN PARADES AND FESTIVALS WILL GATHER TO UNVEIL STATEWIDE SUMMER SCHEDULE OF EVENTS!
[HARTFORD, CT] – On Thursday, April 27,2023, the Coalition of Connecticut Puerto Rican Parades and Festivals will join Elected Leaders and friends to officially announce this year's summer schedule for our statewide Puerto Rican Parade and Festivals. The coalition consists of organizers from Bridgeport, New Haven, Meriden, Hartford, Waterbury, Norwich, and New London.
The coalition is committed to promoting and preserving the Puerto Rican culture in Connecticut. The Puerto Rican Parade itself has a deep history in Connecticut with the first parade held in 1964, in Hartford.
