President Jimmy Carter's Message of Peace and Human Rights

Learn about President Jimmy Carter's legacy after leaving office in 1981. Once a week for 40 years, Carter delivered a message on love and acceptance of all human beings regardless of status or position in his hometown of Plains GA.

This program features video of Carter’s message and what it was like to attend his class while being watched over by the Secret Service. Historian Rick Feingold presents.
