Preserving Summer Camp Week 3: Summer Shrubs + Fruit Syrups!

Join us in the little kitchen to learn all about Summer Shrubs and Fruit Syrups! In this hands-on class we’ll cover the making and history of Shrubs and Syrups, make some delicious locally-sourced cocktails/mocktails and handmade sodas using basic recipes and variations. We’ll walk you through the steps of selecting fruits, herbs, and flowers to create your own shrub to take home and send you off with one of our locally sourced syrups. We'll also sample some fun and refreshing seasonal homemade sodas and cocktails!

Heavy snacks and mixers (non-alcohol as well!) will be provided.

This class is taught by local preserver, Stephanie McClenny, fruit lover and owner at Confituras Little Kitchen.
