Course Description

This one‑day workshop is designed for learners at all levels who need the knowledge and skills to design and deliver effective presentations.

The session covers how to structure a presentation, prepare content, engage with an audience, and manage nerves. Learners will explore techniques for using visual aids, handling challenging audiences, and presenting with confidence and clarity.

Participants must bring a completed 5‑minute presentation to deliver on the day, where they will receive constructive feedback to support their development.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this training, learners will be able to:

• Design and structure a clear, engaging presentation that meets audience needs and expectations.
  
• Prepare effectively for presentation delivery, including planning key messages, content flow, and supporting materials.
  
• Use visual aids confidently and appropriately to enhance audience understanding.
  
• Deliver a presentation using effective communication skills, including voice, body language, pacing, and audience engagement.
  
• Recognise common causes of presentation anxiety and apply techniques to manage nerves effectively.
  
• Respond appropriately to audience questions and manage challenging or difficult audience behaviours.
  
• Reflect on feedback to improve personal presentation style and future performance.
