You are invited to join Heywood Wakefield Commons for a presentation on July 21st at 2pm titled “Grief – A Journey of Understanding and Compassion.” The program will be given by Melissa Kujala, Behavioral Health Counselor with Aging Services of North Central Massachusetts.
Those in attendance will learn how to understand why grief is different for everyone, explore the stages many people move through and recognize how grief can affect the body. The presentation will offer guidance on finding healthy ways to cope and care for yourself, discover simple ways to be there for others and know where to turn for support.
