Hear the inspiring true story of the first CIF-State Championship Cross Country team in California in 1987 that inspired the Disney movie, "McFarland USA." Thomas Valles, the top runner on the team at the time, shares his message of perseverance, dedication and success - proving that "champions can come from anywhere." Admission is $5 per person and may be paid in advance using the ticket link provided. Proceeds will support the GTA Cross Country program. (Students in grades 6-12 will attend an assembly with Mr. Valles during the school day).
