We will gather for the Presbyterian Women Tea on April 27th at 11:30 a.m. If you're interested and want to join, please comment below! There is more information about the event and our speaker below! We will gather at 11:30am and begin the 'meeting' time at noon. We will introduce our speaker Rev. Charita Ngaruiya, who is the new Chaplain for the Presbytery of San Fernando. Charita Ngaruiya was born and raised in Kenya and has been in the US for a few years now!
She cares for people in Los Angeles General Medical Center, on Marengo Street, with a number of buildings from Marengo over to Zonal Avenue, where the St. Camillus Catholic Center is located, the building which stores all the blankets we donate and bless in church. We will have another blessing of the blankets made by Alyss and Barbara on Mother's Day! Once they are blessed, we will give them to Charita to give to those in the hospital that she visits.
