About this Event
The Builders of the New World Program (BNW) is The Actors Theatre Workshop (ATW’s) award-winning after-school theater-arts education program, which has been serving homeless and at-risk youth living in NYC's temporary housing facilities since 1995.
Our program helps at-risk students express their voice, see beyond their current circumstances, and envision a positive future. And they need you to reach their full potential!
Our program includes 8 weeks of life-changing creative classes for the children taught by ATW’s Artistic Director and Founder Thurman E. Scott, family-style meals we enjoy together at each session, holiday classes, and a final performance for the community.
ATW is in need of volunteers to be on-site to help type the children’s stories and organize their artwork after every class. To sign-up for this event, please RSVP with link http://www.actorstheatreworkshop.org/bnw-production
