We invite you to witness our story and be part of this intercultural happening. Engage in dialogue with us about nature and culture.
“At first, there were only insect people in the world. There was darkness, silence, emptiness. And finally, some insects made it through to the second world. Some light. Some movement. In the third world, there was language. Connection. In the fourth, people were similar to what they are today. And in the fifth, they met with the Changing Woman. She was life, she was light. And the story of humanity began…”

When 16 people from all corners of the world meet and discuss nature, culture, and stories, a community emerges. Theatre emerges. Artemisszió Foundation’s Mira Intercultural Community created a theatrical piece in three months from the stories of civilians, foreigners, and migrants, people who chose Hungary as their next home. We used a Native American creation story to create this unique, rich, and diverse piece of art.
This community theatre is performed by 12 people from 12 different cultures. The venue is Artus Stúdió in the 11th district. The performance was created with the support of the HAND Alliance under the framework of the Gear Up! project.
Entry is free of charge, but registration is mandatory. The capacity of the venue is 90 people. We are offering donation-based refreshments before and after the show.

Légy tanúja történetünknek és válj részévé ennek az interkulturális eseménynek. Lépjünk párbeszédbe kultúráról és természetről.
Kezdetben csak rovaremberek éltek a világon. Sötétség volt, csend és üresség. Végül néhány rovarnak sikerült átjutnia a második világba. Megjelent némi fény és mozgás. A harmadik világban megszületett a nyelv és a kapcsolódás. A negyedikben az emberek már hasonlítottak a maiakra. Az ötödikben pedig találkoztak a Változó Asszonnyal. Ő volt az élet, ő volt a fény. És az emberiség története ezzel kezdetét vette…”

Amikor a világ minden tájáról érkező tizenhat ember találkozik, hogy a természetről, a kultúráról és közös történeteikről beszélgessenek, ott közösség születik. Ott színház születik. Az Artemisszió Alapítvány Mira Interkulturális Közössége három hónap alatt hozta létre ezt az előadást olyan civilek, külföldiek és bevándorlók történeteiből, akik Magyarországot választották új otthonuknak. Egy észak-amerikai indián teremtésmítoszt választottunk a személyes sorsok keretéül, így alkottuk meg ezt az egyedi, gazdag és sokszínű művészeti alkotást.
A darabot 12 különböző kultúrából érkező szereplő adja elő a XI. Kerületi Artus Stúdióban. Az előadás a HAND Szövetség támogatásával, a Gear Up! projekt keretében jött létre.

Our community theatre project is a part of our Gear Up! project. The aim of the process was to create a performance that explores the relationship between different cultures and nature through personal stories, collective reflection, and creative cooperation. The performance was directed by Ákos Kállai, with dramaturgy by Attila Farkas. We warmly welcome everyone interested!
