GALLOPING DICK
Hailing from Sheffield, GALLOPING DICK refuse to be boxed in. This British three-piece blends rockabilly, garage rock, gothic blues and darker, heavier textures into a sound that is eccentric, atmospheric and deliberately unpredictable.
Drawing influence from artists as varied as The Cramps, Nick Cave and Tom Waits — with hints of 70s groove and raw garage energy — their music carries a suave yet dangerous edge. There is glamour in their darkness, tension in their rhythm, and a constant sense that something slightly unhinged might happen at any moment.
OPERATION VANGUARD
Operation Vanguard are a four-piece melodic punk rock band from Cramlington in Northumberland.
Led by Mickey Oliver, they’ve been around the live circuit around the North East for a couple of years, and, after a recent name change from plain old Vanguard, are starting to become more widely known.
Support slots with the likes of Hung Like Hanratty, Headsticks and The Kingcrows have helped raise their profile, come and check them out!
