Dino Chris returns to MCPL Wausau this summer for a series of programs for tweens, teens and adults!Chris shared his impressive collection of fossils earlier in 2023 and he'll be back for three programs in July and August on three different topics that share his love of all things prehistoric: Sharks, Jurassic Park and the T. Rex!
These programs aren't appropriate for preschoolers, but tween patrons on up to adults are welcome! The full schedule is below. Free, no registration required. Call 715-261-7220 for more information.
July 13, 1-2pm: Sharks! In celebration of Shark Week, Chris will talk about prehistoric sharks.
July 25, 1-4pm: We'll first show the movie Jurassic Park, and afterward Chris will talk about what the movie got right, and what was wrong!
Aug. 22, 1-2pm: T. Rex 101 - learn all about the most popular (and scariest) dinosaur of them all!
