The Perkins Center for Preaching Excellence and the Texas Annual Conference are joining forces to provide a day-long workshop for preachers in the Texas Annual Conference and the Rio Texas Annual Conference.
A classic definition of boredom is that it is a lack of involvement. These keynotes and workshops provide crucial antidotes to boredom: best practices for involving listeners: by directing them to the power of the gospel amid the world’s pain, by inviting them into sermons that are dynamic journeys, and by engaging the power of their imaginations to discern a better world and to notice the joy and humor in themselves, in Scripture and in the world.
