Join us for a safe, welcoming and culturally sensitive listening event focused on pre-pregnancy counselling and women’s experiences of planning for pregnancy.

This session centres the voices of women and birthing people — particularly those from Black and ethnically diverse communities — to better understand:

*Awareness and access to pre-pregnancy counselling

*Experiences with healthcare professionals

*Barriers to information and support

*What culturally responsive care should look and feel like

Your voice matters. This is an opportunity to share your lived experiences, perspectives and ideas in a supportive and respectful space.

This listening event is delivered in collaboration with researcher Melanie Nana (Obstetric medicine consultant St thomas’ hospital), Rachael Buabeng (Mummy’s Day Out), and Jemma Martin (HG Midwife), all committed to improving maternal health experiences and outcomes.
