Get ready to make the most of the Brighton Youth Job Fair on the 30th June 2026!

This session is designed to help 16–24 year olds looking for work feel confident, prepared, and excited about meeting employers.

Why attend this session?

Job fairs can feel overwhelming if you’ve never been to one before, but with the right preparation, they’re a great opportunity to access real job, apprenticeship, and training opportunities in one place.

At the June job fair, you can expect:

• A range of local employers (to be confirmed) offering live vacancies, apprenticeships, and entry-level roles
• Opportunities to speak directly to hiring managers and recruitment teams
• A chance to make a strong first impression and build connections
• Information about different industries and career pathways
• On-the-day opportunities where employers may fast-track or invite candidates to interviews

We will share the Job Fair details, including how to get your place, at the session.

• What to expect on the day – how job fairs work and how to navigate them
• How to approach employers – simple ways to introduce yourself and start conversations
• What employers are really looking for – even if you have little or no experience
• What to bring – CVs, notes, questions, and how to present yourself
• Managing nerves – practical tips to stay calm and be your authentic self
• Setting small, realistic goals – so you leave feeling successful and motivated

You’ll also have the chance to practise questions, build confidence, and get personalised tips.
