Join us in taking care of our city!With hurricane season quickly upon us, we'll be meeting up for a new kind of service event. On Sunday, June 30th, we'll be cleaning out catch basins along the parade route, and we hope you'll join us!
Everyone is welcome- you don't have to be a member of the Krewe to help out ?
WHAT: Pre-Hurricane Season Catch Basin Clean Out
WHEN: Sunday, June 30th, 10-am 'til noon
WHERE: Meet up at 10 sharp in front of Tipitinas for instruction and guidelines from the city.
BRING: Please bring gloves and any shovels or rakes you have. We'll bring the trash bags and a case or two of water.
Once we're finished around noonish, we'll all head to lunch somewhere to cool off and everyone is encouraged to join. Remember to wear your Freret hats or shirts and we'll see you there!
