In the belly dance world, the word “hafla,” حفلة, is common to both Arabic and Hebrew and is used to generally describe an array of gatherings that primarily involve dancing and music. Its direct translation is “party” or “celebration.” If you’ve never experienced this unique gathering, Omayra is bringing the hafla to Smyrna Dunes Park for a Sunday Fun Day to help you prepare for the end of year holiday season! As you navigate through the preparation for your Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations, Omayra will help you get in tune with your body’s natural rhythm through bellydance fusion in an all inclusive environment that’s fun for the entire family, even your dogs!
This is a rain or shine event as safety permits, and it is free, except for the cost of park entry ($10/Day, $20/annual pass). Omayra is however, accepting donations towards her daughter’s senior trip, which can be paid directly to the official fundraiser
